We are currently recruiting for a temporary Finance Assistant/Reconciliations Assistant to join our vibrant finance to cover maternity leave for 12 months.

As the Finance/Reconciliations Assistant, you will sit within a strong team and will be responsible for a multitude of transactional Finance tasks relating to core reconciliations as well as some month-end responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:
Core reconciliation of sales ledger accounts
Allocating payments
Debtors reconciliations
Responsibility for identifying and reporting payment issues
Assisting with Month end accounts
Journal posting
Query resolution and escalations
Identifying and implementing process efficiency's and improvements
Liaising with internal/external stakeholders
Ad hoc finance projects

About you
Experience with previous reconciliation work is essential
Strong knowledge of MS Excel
Experience managing large sets of data is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work using own initiative
Ability to work within a team or autonomously
Experience working in online retail is desirable
