Python Developer - Global Markets Technology - Leading Investment Bank

We are looking for a talented Python Developer to join a leading Global Markets team in London. This role focuses on automation, interface development, and real-time trading system monitoring, contributing to the de-risking of strategic platforms. You will play a key role in enhancing a command-and-control UI used to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot trading systems in real time.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and automate Python-based solutions for trading system interfaces.
Build wrappers for automation and testing of upstream application scripts.
Enhance and optimize Linux-based applications and migrate key features to Windows.
Collaborate with teams across Global Markets to integrate and onboard new features.
Contribute to real-time monitoring and troubleshooting tools to improve system performance and regulatory compliance.

Key Skills & Experience:
Strong Python development skills, with a focus on automation and scripting.
Experience working with Linux-based applications, including system-level development and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of web development (React, Click library for Python) is a plus.
Background in financial services or trading system monitoring is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
