Section Engineer / Sub Agent : Highways and Civil Infrastructure : Peterborough

Randstad is searching for a skilled and motivated Section Engineer / Sub agent to join a team in the Peterborough area. Youll play a key role in delivering crucial infrastructure projects, contributing to the development and enhancement of the local area.

What Youll Be Doing

Leading the way: Oversee the construction of sections of complex projects involving highways, drainage, earthworks, and groundworks.
Delivering Quality: Ensure work is executed to the highest standards, meeting project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
Problem Solving: Identify potential issues, implement solutions, and ensure project milestones are met.
Teamwork and Communication: Coordinate with subcontractors, manage site teams, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed site records and produce comprehensive progress reports.

What Youll Bring

Experience: Proven experience as a Section Engineer in Highways and Civil Infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on drainage, earthworks, and/or groundworks.
Knowledge: A solid understanding of relevant design and construction standards, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and groundworks best practices.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Problem:Solving: A keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem:solving.
CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is essential.
