We’re hiring a Contract Senior Data Engineer to join a fast-paced technology team. This is a great opportunity to design and deliver complex data solutions in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data flows
Build, maintain, and operate cloud-based data platforms
Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve data processing pipelines
Evaluate and develop tools for analytics and reporting environments
Contribute to migration, integration, and risk management activities

Skills We’re Looking For:
Strong experience with ETL tools (SSIS, AWS, or Azure Data Factory)
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS) and BI tools (Power BI, Pentaho BA)
Solid background in agile delivery and effort estimation
Familiarity with Python and data libraries
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:
Experience with Hadoop, Jenkins
Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS)
Basic knowledge of Java

This is a 6 months rolling contract with daily rate up to £500.
