The Role
In this pivotal position, you'll be responsible for the smooth, safe, and efficient running of all warehouse operations—from goods-in to final dispatch. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensure seamless inventory control, and champion best practices across health & safety, logistics, space management, and customer service.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
Managing day-to-day operations across receiving, storage, and dispatch
Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
Overseeing stock control, audits, and replenishment
Optimising warehouse layout, equipment usage, and space planning
Coordinating with logistics providers and internal stakeholders
Driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost control
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations
Delivering operational excellence through KPI tracking and data-led decision-making
Requirements
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader. We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in managing warehouse operations in a similar fast-paced environment
Confident in leading teams, setting performance standards, and promoting a positive workplace culture
Highly organised with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
Proficient in using data and KPIs to drive performance
Well-versed in compliance, health & safety, and warehouse systems
Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
Experience in vendor management, shipping coordination, and sustainability practices will also be advantageous
