Python Developer – Front Office Trade Workflow Platform (Equities)

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join the Front Office Equities team at an international investment bank, to work on the re-architecture of a critical trade document workflow application. This is a prime opportunity for a strong technologist to have a direct impact on the scalability, performance, and future design of a major trading platform.

Role Overview:
Focus: Re-architect a high-volume, distributed document management workflow system supporting legal trade documentation.
Environment: Front Office role, interacting with high-throughput, low-latency systems and key vendors.
Scope: Work on distributed load optimization, performance tuning, and system reliability improvements under heavy load conditions.

Key Technical Skills:
Strong development expertise in Python
Experience with Oracle databases.
Practical knowledge of Kubernetes rollout and orchestration.
Familiarity with on-premises cloud infrastructure.
Deep understanding of load balancing, distributed computing, concurrency, and performance optimization.
