Platform Architect | Digital Technology | Hybrid (London-based)

A leading sports organisation is looking for an experienced Platform Architect to join their Digital Technology team and help shape the future of their tech infrastructure.

This is a unique opportunity to combine high-impact architecture work with the excitement of the sports industry. You’ll be central to the evolution of infrastructure platforms that support operations on and off the field, delivering robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

In this role, you’ll:
Guide the design and delivery of infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
Contribute to both short-term plans and long-term strategic architecture goals.
Act as a technical authority across a wide variety of internal and external projects.
Investigate emerging technologies and drive innovation where it adds value.
Support project delivery and resolve complex technical challenges.

We're looking for someone who:
Has deep experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture (preferably Azure).
Is confident working with Microsoft tech stacks, networking, storage, and virtualisation.
Brings a strategic mindset with hands-on capability and strong stakeholder skills.
Can adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where technology meets sport.

Bonus points if you:
Hold relevant cloud certifications.
Have a track record of driving technical innovation.
Understand how infrastructure supports both business and customer-facing systems.
