Job Title: Palo Alto SME
Job Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
Location: London (2-3 days on-site)
Day Rate: £350-400/day

Palo Alto SME - Role & Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Panorama within enterprise environments, particularly in Azure cloud deployments
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN for secure and reliable connectivity.
Design and implement High Availability (HA) and failover strategies to ensure uninterrupted firewall services.
Create, optimize, and maintain ACL rules, NAT configurations, and advanced security policies in alignment with best practices.
Perform routine and critical software upgrades on Palo Alto firewalls to maintain system security and functionality.

Palo Alto SME - Required Experience
5+ years' in dedicated Palo Alto project roles
Enterprise-scale Palo Alto NGFW deployments, including design, implementation, and operational support
Migrating Palo Alto firewalls from on-prem to Azure
Solid understanding of Azure network traffic flows, NSGs, UDRs, and integration with virtual firewalls.
Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE preferred)
