Location: Sheffield (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)

Are you a technically strong DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation, integration, and improving infrastructure processes? Our leading financial services client is seeking a contract DevOps Engineer to join their Messaging and Integration Engineering Pod on a 6-month initial engagement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Skills Required:
Shell Scripting (Preferred)
Python (Preferred)
Ansible
Jenkins (Pipeline creation and scripting)
Kubernetes
Docker
API integrations
Proven experience with automation and process improvement
Strong communication skills and ability to work in ambiguous, evolving environments

You'll be joining a technically driven engineering team focused on modernising and automating infrastructure integration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering mindset, the ability to simplify complex environments, and a drive to deliver scalable solutions.
