We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Security Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of IT security, working alongside experienced professionals to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Role Details:
Salary: £22,925pa
Bonus: Up to 10%
Contract type: Fixed Term contract 12 months
Working Pattern: Hybrid - Office based 3 days a week – After training and Probation
Location: Kingswood Field office KT20 6RP (Tadworth)

Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and analysing security alerts and incidents.
Support the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Help in the development and deployment of security awareness training programs.
Assist with the documentation of security processes and incident response plans.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree/masters or recently competed in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity.
Basic understanding of network security principles and practices.
Familiarity with common security tools and software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
