Title: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer
Location: Northampton, UK
Type: Hybrid (2 Days onsite)
Salary: £350 - £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Until the end of December 2025

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Implementation: Develop scalable IAM solutions with ISIM, covering user provisioning, de-provisioning, and RBAC.
Java Integration: Create and maintain Java-based connectors, workflows, and custom business logic for IAM processes.
System Integration: Interface ISIM with enterprise systems, third-party IDPs, databases, and LDAP directories.
Security Compliance: Apply best practices aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, and other standards.
Troubleshooting & Optimisation: Monitor and resolve issues, improving system performance and efficiency.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside security, infrastructure, and development teams to build cohesive solutions.
Innovation: Stay up to date on IAM technologies, contributing to continuous architectural improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience with IAM platforms, particularly IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) or alternatives like Ping Identity or Microsoft Identity Manager.
Strong understanding of IAM protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
Java development skills with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
Background in IAM administration: provisioning, role management, and access reviews.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Demonstrated experience working in large, multi-system enterprise environments.
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
