Job Title: Embedded/Hardware Engineer

About the mission:
Technical Architecture & System Security: Define technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Training & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training and mentorship to junior and intermediate team members.
Team Supervision & Best Practices: Supervise developers, ensuring best practices and overseeing technical decisions.
Firmware & Real-Time Systems Development: Design and develop low-level firmware and software for real-time systems on programmable logic controllers, with a focus on VxWorks.
System Integration & Communication: Ensure system integration and communication using industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams for robust solutions.
Skills:
Team Leadership & Best Practices: Be open to coaching developers, ensuring best practices and supervising technical decisions.
Low-Level Programming Mastery: Proficient in C and C++ for efficient development of embedded and real-time applications.
Version Management Expertise: Experienced with GIT and GitLab for rigorous development monitoring and effective team collaboration.
Real-Time OS Development: Skilled in developing on real-time embedded operating systems like VxWorks, FreeRTOS, Zephyr OS, and Xenomai.
Firmware & Communication Protocols: Expertise in firmware development and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, CAN, MQTT, CoAP) for reliable embedded systems and IoT network integration.
