As a Pricing Direct Analyst/Associate within the securitized products team, you will be part of a dynamic, revenue-generating team. You will provide independent pricing and analytics for a vast range of fixed income and derivative instruments, utilizing real-time market intelligence. You will have the opportunity to enhance your market knowledge, develop new methodologies, and explore new areas of product growth. Your role will be crucial in addressing client concerns, ensuring first-class service and quality.
Job Responsibilities
Works on daily generation of securities valuations for multiple market closes, entailing start-to-end ownership responsibilities, inclusive of market data collection and analysis, price generation, and quality control
Addresses all client concerns daily with emphasis on providing first-class service and quality
Develops cutting-edge methodologies and infrastructure to increase accuracy and speed of valuations
Communicates with trading desks, market participants and research to enhance market knowledge and understanding of the market pricing
Examines and develops new areas of product growth with a focus on autonomously exploring new ideas
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
Firm understanding of the principles of fixed income products and cash models
Ability to collect and analyse large amounts of market information, extract its essence, and incorporate the findings into valuation matrix and processes
Experience in programming languages such as Python and VBA
Proficiency in Excel and high aptitude for learning new technologies
Clear, logical thinker with strong quantitative abilities
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, portfolio managers, traders, research, and sales
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of real-time market pressures, remaining focused on client needs
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
Understanding of Mortgage-Backed Securities /Asset-Backed Security/ Non-Performing Loans/ Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security securitized products
