Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Location: UK-(REMOTE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, data integration, and dashboard/report development using BI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Translate business needs into technical specifications and establish data models to support reporting.

Analyze, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse or reporting environments.

Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand and support their data and reporting needs.

Optimize and tune SQL queries and BI reports for performance and scalability.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI platforms.

Maintain documentation for processes, reports, and data definitions.

Stay updated on new BI technologies and best practices to improve reporting processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst.

Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.

Exposure to Agile methodologies and data governance practices.
