We are looking for a Medior/Senior Data Consultant with strong experience in data governance, organizational design, and business analysis to join a major data transformation initiative.

This role is ideal for professionals who excel at connecting governance frameworks to real-world enterprise challenges in a pragmatic and structured way.

Logistics:
Position: Freelance Medior/Senior Data Consultant (Governance Focus)
Duration: May–September (Full-time)
Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
Day Rate: €(Negotiable & Competitive)
Interview Stages: 2 (Rapid feedback expected)
Languages: English AND French OR Dutch

Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Interviews: Lead discussions with business leaders to capture data governance requirements
Governance Design: Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for sustainable data management
Gap Assessment: Evaluate current-state governance across multiple organisational units
Blueprint Contribution: Translate governance and organisational insights into actionable recommendations
Collaboration: Align closely with architects and technical consultants on roadmap integration

Must-Have Experience:
8–12 years in data governance, business analysis, or enterprise data roles
Proven experience defining and implementing governance models in large organisations
Strong facilitation skills across business and IT audiences
Excellent documentation and presentation abilities

Nice-to-Have:
Background in telecom, finance, or other regulated sectors
Knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO, or similar
