**Freelance** - Storage Backup Administrator - Brussels

A client of Koda Staff's is urgently looking for a Storage Backup Admin / Engineer to join a long term freelance contract. The client has offices in Brussels, Leuven & Liege and they are flexible to which offices would work best for the consultant.

The client requires you on site 1-2 days per week & 3-4 days a week remote.

Technical Skills :

10+ years of experience as a Storage Engineer / Backup System Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge with both Dell (ECM) and IBM (Spectrum)
Experience NetBackup, Vim, and Data Protection a big plus
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python, PowerShell, and experience with REST APIs
Solid knowledge of major operating systems, e.g Windows, Linux (various distributions), and AIX
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, storage, virtualization, containerization, security, high availability (HA/PowerHA), clustering, and databases
Cloud and backup experience will be a big positive, but not a hard requirement

Languages : English ONLY - French is a big bonus
