We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong expertise in GE Smallworld technologies to join a high-performance team supporting enterprise GIS solutions. This is a senior technical role that combines hands-on development, architectural guidance, team mentoring, and direct customer engagement in a fast-paced, confidential environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership across all phases of Smallworld GIS solution delivery, from design through implementation and support.
Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex system issues, driving resolution and long-term improvements.
Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients, translating business needs into scalable GIS solutions.
Guide development and support teams, ensuring best practices in Magik, Java, and database engineering.
Oversee patch deployment, software upgrades, and environment configurations in live production systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, support, and product teams to maintain system reliability and customer satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Essential Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience with GE Smallworld technologies: PNI, Core (SW4/SW5), EO, GDO, GTO, GSS, GSA, DM, MES, NRM, K8.
Deep knowledge of Magik programming and GE Smallworld VMDS architecture.
Solid command of Java, Oracle, SQL, and shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
Proven experience leading teams in complex software deployments and support scenarios.
Ability to interpret logs/debug files and diagnose system-wide performance issues.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics to mixed audiences.
Demonstrated experience working in a regulated environment with change control and compliance protocols.
