Join a global investment bank as a React Developer in the front office FX eTrading team. This is a high-impact role on a greenfield program to modernise and scale a real-time trading platform. You'll work on cutting-edge technology, solving complex problems in a fast-paced trading environment alongside world-class engineers.

React Developer – FX eTrading | Global Investment Bank

We are currently hiring an experienced React Developer to join the FX eTrading technology team within the front office of a global investment bank. This role is part of a major, multi-year transformation program aimed at modernising and scaling a high-performance trading platform.

You will be working on a greenfield initiative with significant visibility, contributing to the design and build of next-generation front-end systems for the bank’s electronic FX trading business. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the most talented technologists in the industry and tackle complex engineering challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and development of high-performance, low-latency front-end trading systems using React.
Build real-time market data visualisation tools and trading dashboards.
Work closely with traders, quants, and back-end engineers to deliver robust and scalable UI solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to performance tuning and optimisation.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Deep experience building eTrading front-end applications in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of low-latency design principles and performance optimisation
Experience with real-time data streaming technologies (WebSockets, FIX, TCP)
Familiarity with OpenFin or other containerized front-end frameworks
Proven ability to build responsive, high-performance UIs for trading environments
Understanding of FX and FX Options markets (other asset classes also considered)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges
Comfortable working in high-pressure, front-office trading environments
Highly motivated with a proactive, positive approach
