Job Specifications

Insight Global is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer for one of their premier financial services clients in London. This person will be responsible for the ownership of test plans, supporting the efforts of Engineering and Product through effective QA, providing strong communication around QA initiatives and problems as they arise, proactively testing applications in various environments as well as, producing robust documentation. This person will be consistently discovering problem areas before the product teams and customers do.

This is an Inside IR35 contract and offers a flexible working model with onsite 3x a week in London.

Must Haves:
Experience manual and automated software testing
Strong understanding of the full SDLC and Agile QA processes
Robust knowledge of QA best practices
Experience with automation frameworks like Cucumber and/or Selenium
Proven ability to write and execute robust test plans
Proficiency with Cypress
Proficiency with Jest and Junit
Proficiency with kotlin.test
Familiar with Github and/or Jenkins for automation pipelines
Extremely organized and diligent
Plusses:
Experience testing software for insurance, wealth management and/or banking platforms
Strong Understanding of Continuous Integration development
Proficiency with Jmeter
