About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Senior Developer to help us build and evolve our flagship portal and suite of new products. You’ll play a key role in delivering new features, refining our architecture, and ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, and a joy to use. This is a hands-on, full-stack role with lots of autonomy and scope to shape the way we work - perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Our Stack
Frontend: Next.js, React
Backend: Node.js, API routes, AWS Lambda
Database: PostgreSQL (with Sequelize ORM)
Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (Cognito, RDS, S3, Lambda, EventBridge, SES)
Deployment: Vercel, GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
Testing: Playwright
AI Integration: OpenAI APIs (used in FinProm compliance tooling) and Prompt Layer
What You’ll Do
Lead development of key features and product improvements
Write clean, efficient code across our frontend and backend stacks
Design and manage scalable database models and performant queries
Work across AWS services, especially Cognito, Lambda, RDS, and S3
Champion best practices for security, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with our product and compliance teams to solve complex, real-world problems
Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and Playwright test suites
Mentor junior developers and support team-wide learning
Contribute to architectural decisions as we scale
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in full-stack development roles
Strong proficiency in React and Next.js
Backend expertise with Node.js and API development
Experience working with PostgreSQL and ORMs (ideally Sequelize)
Experience with Vercel and GitHub-based deployment workflows
Familiarity with OpenAI integrations or other ML/AI applications
Solid AWS knowledge - especially Lambda, Cognito, and serverless architecture
Understanding of authentication and authorisation principles
Track record with CI/CD workflows and automated testing
Passion for building secure, user-friendly products
Great communication skills and a collaborative, inclusive approach
Bonus Points For
Experience in fintech or regtech
Knowledge of FCA regulations
AWS certifications or similar credentials
