SALARY: around £14.00 per hour to be confirmed at interview stage

Hargreaves Industrial Services is a leading provider of contract operation and maintenance services. Hargreaves are seeking the appointment of an Multi-Functional Operator in the Castleford, West Yorkshire.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -

Attend any meetings or training sessions as required

Comply with Safe Working Procedures.

Operate a selection of mobile plant including front end loading shovel, forklift truck, telehandler, scissor lift.

Traffic management duties

General cleaning of the tipping hall

Support the daily operational activities of the energy from waste plant

Ensure plant and equipment is always maintained to an operationally safe and clean condition

Provide assistance in the field when and where needed

The successful candidate will also be required to support secondary roles within the operation including industrial cleaning duties

Work on a shift rota basis including occasional Saturday's

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-

Good communicator at many levels, colleagues, other contractors, and clients

Excellent knowledge of IT systems (essential)

Passport To Safety / IOSH Managing Safely. (Preferred)

Qualified & competent to operate mobile plant to NPORS level. (essential)

Good problem solver

Flexible approach to work

A strong team player

Ability to work independently and on own initiative

Good communicator

Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace

Understanding of Safe Working Procedures

Good time keeping and willing to work overtime as necessary
