Role: Full-Stack WordPress Developer
Location: UK-based (remote with Kent hybrid optional)
Salary: £45,000–£48,000
No sponsorship offered

They’ve been around for 12 years, but in many ways, this is day one. New leadership, new clients, and a clear vision: to build a lean, sharp, genuinely collaborative digital team. You’d be the third developer in. That means shaping the tech, the process, even the culture.

It’s back-end heavy (around 60/40), but full stack. You’ll build custom WordPress themes and plugins, integrate APIs, and see projects through from concept to go-live. You’ll also be trusted to manage your own work — not micromanaged or siloed.

What you will be doing
Building custom themes/plugins — not tweaking templates
Working with ACF Pro, Elementor, JS, and LESS/CSS
Integrating APIs (REST, JSON, Postman etc.)
Owning full project cycles, client calls included
Helping shape how the dev team runs — from tools to titles
What they’re looking for:
Strong WordPress skills
Proven experience with custom builds
API Integration experience- JSON, Postman etc.
Someone confident working solo and collaborating with a team
A portfolio of real work you’re proud of (3–5 examples is plenty)
Bonus points for:
Framer, Webflow, or WooCommerce experience
Headless WordPress (Next.js, Vue, React)
GraphQL
Familiarity with Cloudways or similar hosting platforms
