Role Overview and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to our CTO, we’re looking for a product-minded Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the platforms that power Sektor’s AI-driven solutions. You’ll ship features end-to-end, from responsive UIs to intelligent back-ends running in the cloud, help construction companies turn complexity into clarity and measuring the impact of their tech stack with data science.

Guide the selection of the tech stack and design the architecture of our first client-facing MVP in partnership with the CTO.
Build, ship, and own full-stack features, APIs, and services that ingest, enrich, and surface high-value construction and technology process data.
Craft responsive, accessible UIs with your choice of React or other modern frameworks, using state-management best practices.
Develop robust Python services, containerised with Docker and deployed to the cloud using infrastructure-as-code.
Integrate third-party construction systems (e.g., Procore, Autodesk, OpenSpace) via APIs; design secure auth flows (OAuth 2.0/OIDC) and enforce web-security best practices.
Embed contextual AI chat and data-science–driven collaboration features, connecting to platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews and continuous delivery pipelines.
Break down epics into iterative, high-impact releases; instrument features with metrics and logging for observability, rapid feedback, and data-driven impact assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years building production web applications, or equivalent depth of skill.
Strong proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g. React, Vue, Svelte, Angular) and the associated JS/TS, with the judgement to select and advocate for the best stack when needed.
Professional experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django preferred).
Hands-on knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (e.g. ECS, Kubernetes, Nomad).
Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD workflows.
Solid grasp of API design, secure authentication/authorisation, and common web-security threats.
Experience embedding or building chat/real-time collaboration features; bonus points for integrating with Teams or Slack.
Comfortable navigating and integrating complex construction-software ecosystems (Procore, Autodesk, etc.).
Strong sense of ownership, clear communication, and a bias for shipping value quickly.
