Role Description
The Information Security Specialist supports the day-to-day operations and tasks that the Divisional Technical Information Security Officer (D-TISO) handles in collaboration with the IT Application Owner. The primary focus is on managing security-related processes around application security to ensure adherence to the client’s Information Security Policies.
This role involves coordination of security incident resolution, root cause analysis, data collection, compliance reporting, and continuous risk reduction for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) portfolio. The specialist also reviews application security monitoring events and contributes to enhancement planning and D-TISO support functions.

Primary Responsibilities / Tasks
Regular and ad-hoc reporting from a variety of source tools and systems.
Support business functions such as recertification, incident management, and KPI reporting.
Assist project teams in executing information security programs, e.g., regulatory control assessments.
Initiate independent risk reviews and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
Advise senior stakeholders on security programs and policy compliance.
Provide feedback on security policies/standards and suggest improvements.
Support the organization’s strategy, values, and compliance culture.
Collaborate within the global security team and actively contribute to a high-performance environment.

Job Requirements
Experience / Exposure:
Solid knowledge in one or more InfoSec domains: IAM, incident/problem management, security governance.
Experience working within business and IT processes with security focus.
Familiarity with financial institutions or regulated environments.
Strong analytical mindset to identify root causes and support solutions.
Comfortable working in virtual teams and matrix environments.
Able to thrive in fast-paced and evolving technical settings.
Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
Prior exposure to 3rd-party vendor coordination.
Basic familiarity with Unix and Windows Server environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is advantageous.
Experience with Microsoft Access or SQL is a plus.

Education
Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) preferred.

In addition, any of the following education/certification attainment will be beneficial:
CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner).
CAP (Certified Authorisation Professional).
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) & /or relevant practical experience.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent.
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or equivalent.
CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent.
CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control).
