Cyber SOC Programme Manager - Micro segmentation - Financial Services

We’re looking for an experienced Cyber SOC Programme Manager to lead a critical initiative within a global FS&I business.

The programme is focused on strengthening cyber resilience through the implementation of micro segmentation and refined group security rules. The goal is to significantly reduce lateral threat movement within the network and enhance access control across the organisation. A key part of this programme is ensuring full alignment with evolving regulatory requirements, particularly DORA and NIS2, by building out strong monitoring, incident response, and compliance reporting capabilities within the Security Operations Centre (SOC).

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the delivery of key security enhancements across network architecture, ensuring the SOC can proactively detect and respond to threats while maintaining full auditability and regulatory readiness. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement security policies, oversee incident management improvements, and ensure clear governance and reporting processes are in place. Your work will have a direct impact on protecting critical infrastructure and meeting regulatory obligations at a high standard.

To be successful, you'll need solid experience managing complex cybersecurity programmes, ideally in the financial services sector. You should have hands-on knowledge of SOC operations, network security strategy, and regulatory frameworks including DORA and NIS2. Familiarity with micro segmentation techniques and access control policy development is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and keep delivery on track.
