Ready to make a difference? Join a dynamic team and shape the future of networking! We’re seeking a Network Field Engineer with strong Cisco expertise to lead exciting SD-WAN deployments and network upgrades across Scotland.

Network Field Engineer – Join the Digital Transformation in Scotland!
Location: Nationwide (Travel required within Scotland)
Contract: 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Competitive Day Rate

Key Responsibilities:
Deploy SD-WAN Solutions across 50+ sites in Scotland.
Upgrade LAN infrastructure nationwide and troubleshoot site failures.
Collaborate with teams on networking and infrastructure design.
Consult and advise on network roadmap and future-proofing solutions.
Ensure compliance with network policies and best practices.
Support the implementation of network security solutions (Palo Alto, F5, VPN, etc.).
Consult with colleagues to optimize network performance.

Key Skills & Experience:
Expertise in Cisco networking (2960X/XR, 4500, 9000, Nexus).
Experience with SD-WAN, Wi-Fi systems, and LAN upgrades.
Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, IPsec tunnels, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
Experience with network monitoring solutions, load balancing, and F5 VPN.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A CCNA (minimum) certification, with other certifications (CCNP, etc.) being highly desirable.
Willing to travel across Scotland, including weekends and nights for deployments.
