Java Developer – Digital Assets/Crypto Trading Desk

We are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a newly established Digital Assets & Crypto Trading and Market Making desk at a leading systematic trading firm.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge trading infrastructure. The role will focus on building low-latency systems from the ground up, supporting the full trading lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with traders and quants to develop trading capabilities and infrastructure
Design and implement low-latency components including order execution, market connectivity, real-time pricing, and strategy engines
Build and maintain core trading system components such as the OMS and market data handlers

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience building low-latency trading systems
Strong proficiency in Core Java, including multi-threading, concurrency, and design patterns
Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
Demonstrated experience working in close partnership with traders and quantitative teams
Solid understanding of electronic trading, particularly across FX, Spot, Futures, and Swaps
A strong interest in Crypto/Digital Assets is essential
