Role Description:
This is a Contractual hybrid role for a Software Developer, located in the London area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some remote work. The Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications. Day-to-day tasks include coding, debugging, and collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Tasks Include:
Design & Development:
Build and optimise responsive websites and landing pages using Framer (CMS setups, animations, interactions).
Customise Framer templates with HTML/CSS to achieve pixel-perfect designs and override no-code limitations.
Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/Adobe XD mockups into functional Framer prototypes.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all projects.
Collaboration & Iteration:
Work closely with stakeholders (marketers, designers, clients) to refine requirements and iterate on feedback.
Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot layout/performance issues in existing Framer projects.
Document technical processes and maintain clean, reusable code for future updates.
Optimisation & Maintenance:
Implement SEO best practices (meta tags, alt text, page speed optimisation) within Framer-built sites.
Integrate third-party tools (analytics, CRM, payment gateways) into Framer/Shopify projects.
Update and maintain existing client websites, ensuring security and functionality.
Problem-Solving:
Debug and resolve front-end issues (e.g., broken interactions, CMS errors, styling conflicts).
Propose creative solutions to enhance user experience and streamline workflows.
Core Skills:
Expertise in Framer – Proven experience designing, building, and optimising websites using Framer (animations, CMS, interactions, and responsive layouts).
Strong HTML/CSS Skills – Ability to customise and fine-tune designs beyond no-code limitations.
Bonus Skills:
Shopify Experience – Familiarity with Shopify (Liquid templating, theme customisation, or store setup) is a plus.
Basic JavaScript – Helps enhance Framer interactions and dynamic elements.
UI/UX Sensitivity – Keen eye for design, spacing, typography, and user flows.
Soft Skills:
Clear Communication – Comfortable collaborating with designers, marketers, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solver – Debugs layout/performance issues in Framer projects efficiently.
Nice-to-Haves:
Agile/Iterative Workflow – Experience working in sprints or fast-paced updates.
Other No-Code Tools – Webflow, Wix, or Bubble knowledge is a bonus (but not required).

Pay: £24,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
