Business Analyst – Intraday Risk Management (Equities & Prime Financing)
My client, a global bank based in London, is looking for a contract Business Analyst within Equities and Prime Financing team, covering a dynamic range of business lines including Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Synthetic Prime, Delta1, Futures Execution, and Derivatives Clearing Services.
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives focused on improving intraday risk management and front-office risk viewing capabilities, in line with PRA commitments.
Contract until end of December 2025, paying up to £900 per day.
Key skills:
Intraday Risk Management
Cash Equities or Equity Derivatives
FX experience
Securities financing, interest rates
Front Office
Proven track record in delivering high-quality, data-driven analysis in a Global Markets environment.
Experience supporting both tech and non-tech change, ideally within Agile teams.
Strong analytical skills with SQL proficiency.
Skilled in Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities:
Develop a strong understanding of regulatory drivers and front-to-back architecture in Equities and Prime Financing Risk & PnL.
Deliver accurate, timely data analysis to support effective solution design for Risk Managers.
Collaborate with BAs across related programmes to share best practices and reuse data/approaches where possible.
Ensure solutions balance strategic and tactical needs, informed by data-driven decision making.
Communicate progress, challenges, and issues clearly and succinctly to stakeholders.
