Job description: The Implementation Manager will play an important role in the reorganization of Regional Control Centers (RCC) team and roll out of new tools which will assist with the management of the regional grid. The Implementation Manager acquires the necessary detailed and operational knowledge of the new and existing products and processes, facilitates the smooth operation and identifies possible improvements.

What you'll do:
Getting to know the RCC (& NetOp) processes in depth.
Get acquainted with tools & processes already used within NCC including the larger end-to-end business processes from contractual information till settlement.
Follow the implementation requested by NCC (National Control Centre) in the framework of iCAROS and GUFLEX projects to understand the technical/practical aspects of the projects being implemented.
Perform gap analysis between RCC and NCC processes.
Lead the implementation needed in iCAROS & GuFlex processes for RCC.
Using the experience gained at NCC to prepare and support the implementation of the new dispatcher Day Ahead/Intra Day role.
Using the experience gained at NCC to lead iCaros and GuFlex program implementation at RCC.
Be the guardian of the program/project methodologies.
Maintaining the roadmap.
Follow-up & challenge of risks and issues.
Follow-up & challenge of milestone planning.
Making presentations about certain topics.
Being able to support the development of roadmaps for specific topics/initiatives.
Support change management activities.
RCC dispatcher training for the new role and usage of iCaros/GuFlex tools.

What you bring:
You have a master’s degree in engineering/engineering/science or equivalent experience.
3 years of relevant experience, e.g. in implementing complex processes in IT tools as a Product Owner or representing a business department and/or operational change management.
Great willingness to develop in-depth expertise on the energy sector and market mechanism.
Problem solver: you can develop pragmatic solutions to both ad hoc operational problems and devise appropriate longer-term solutions, you know when to act/respond, can (not) delegate the action/question to the right person.
Strong communication skills: you are able to communicate with colleagues and experts as well as a broader, less knowledgeable audience, maintaining appropriate focus and level of detail in both written and oral communication.
You have a very good knowledge of MS Office (especially excel).
Knowledge of Python, VBA in Excel, PowerApps and/or PowerBI is a relevant extra.

Language:
Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch, and or French.
