Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Weehawken, NJ (Need Onsite day 1, 4 days a week from office).

Responsibilities:

Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements. This includes stakeholder interviews, use case development, and traceability management.
Model current and future state business processes, and create data models to support system design and analysis, are essential
Strong critical thinking and the ability to apply structured techniques to investigate problems, identify opportunities, and propose data-driven solutions are key
Work closely with developers and familiarity with the following are preferred:
DevOps fundamentals
Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python/Pandas)
Agile methodologies
Clear communication--both written and verbal--is vital. Business analysts must translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and manage diverse stakeholder expectation
Business analysts will be facing off to Bankers so engagement soft skills are critical.
Soft skills like negotiation, facilitation, and adaptability. These help analysts navigate ambiguity, manage conflict, and drive consensus
Deeply understand the needs of the Coverage, Advisory & the Capital Markets space in Global Banking and prioritize user stories to achieve business goals

Required Skills:

Process design and re-design including strategies to addressing challenges
working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product ownership (such as performing product owner role in a scrum team)
delivery complex products to clients, ideally within the financial industry preferably investment banking
team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
