Job Description
**Job Title:** Management Accountant **Role Summary:** Provide comprehensive financial management and support, driving system integration, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and month‑end reporting. Partner with senior management to deliver insights that enhance operational efficiency and support the organisation’s growth objectives. **Expectations:** - Dynamic, proactive, and commercially minded with strong system acumen. - Comfortable engaging with non‑finance stakeholders and delivering system‑integration improvements. - Proven management‑accounting experience, capable of autonomous work and collaborative teamwork. - Growth‑oriented mindset, willing to evolve the finance function aligned with business strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead implementation and integration of new financial systems across the business. - Assist the Head of Finance with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow, accruals, prepayments) with variance commentary. - Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations. - Consolidate group financials. - Business partner with management, offering financial advice to improve efficiency and performance. - Develop financial models to support business decisions. **Required Skills:** - Management accounting and financial reporting expertise. - Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling proficiency. - Experience with balance‑sheet reconciliation and group consolidation. - Strong system implementation knowledge and ability to liaise with non‑finance users. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Process‑improvement mindset and adaptability to changing business needs. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA). - Professional certification preferred but not mandatory.
