Job Description
Job Title: Market Manager / Business Development Manager – UK Role Summary: Lead the growth and management of a portfolio of hotel partners across the UK, driving new acquisitions, account development, and revenue expansion while ensuring alignment with company standards and market demands. Expactations: * Achieve set growth targets and expand inventory coverage. * Maintain high-quality relationships with hotel partners and drive continuous revenue growth. * Deliver accurate, timely performance reports to senior management and recommend strategic actions. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and secure new hotel partners through prospect research, cold calling, and negotiation. * Lead the end‑to‑end contracting and onboarding process for new properties. * Manage existing hotel accounts, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvement initiatives. * Conduct market and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities and trends. * Prepare and present regular performance reports and business updates to senior leadership. * Collaborate with operations, product, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives. * Ensure hotel content, rates, availability, and product offerings meet company objectives and deliver value to customers. * Support other business functions as required. Required Skills: * Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, revenue/yield management, or related roles in online travel, hospitality, or e‑commerce. * Strong sales and negotiation capabilities; confident with cold calling and contract negotiations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Excellent communication, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Proactive ownership mindset, creative problem‑solving, and change‑driving capability. * Ability to travel frequently (≥25 % of time) across the UK and other relevant markets. * Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
