**Job Title**
Professional Services Director
**Role Summary**
Lead the establishment and growth of the Professional Services function for a European payment‑processing fintech. Own strategic direction, delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and profitable operations. Direct a cross‑functional team to execute seamless integration and onboarding of banking clients onto a SaaS payment platform.
**Expectations**
- Build and scale a high‑performance Professional Services organization from zero.
- Deliver client integration projects on time, within budget, and to agreed SLA.
- Ensure measurable client satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth.
- Manage the department’s P&L, achieving profitability targets.
- Align product, programme, and commercial teams to meet strategic objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Strategic Planning & Structuring**
- Design organizational architecture, recruitment, roles, governance, and KPIs.
- Define vision, roadmap, and growth targets for the department.
- Establish best‑practice integration processes for SaaS‑based clients.
2. **Project Delivery & Operations**
- Oversee all client projects: scoping, scheduling, quality, budgets, risk.
- Implement industrialised, scalable project methodology and tools.
- Draft and negotiate build contracts (business scope).
- Monitor SLAs, scope, performance, and profitability metrics.
3. **Client Satisfaction & Commercial Alignment**
- Maintain strategic client relationships during integration and onboarding.
- Lead governance with banking partners and drive client‑centric outcomes.
- Prioritise client requests, manage risk, and funnel field feedback to product.
- Support pre‑sales activities: estimations, proposals, and technical reviews.
4. **Team Leadership & Development**
- Recruit, coach, and retain a high‑capability professional services team.
- Foster a culture of quality service and continuous improvement.
- Develop internal expertise in client integration and project delivery.
5. **Process & Tool Management**
- Select, configure, and maintain ticketing, documentation, and project‑management tools in partnership with Tech.
- Ensure processes are documented, measurable, and audit‑ready.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years in consulting, SaaS implementation, or integration services.
- Proven experience leading large‑scale projects, pre‑sales, and P&L management.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems (card schemes, monétique) and SaaS architectures.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Agile mindset with ability to industrialise project delivery.
- Bilingual: French (C2) and English (B2‑C1).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster, or equivalent) are a plus.
