Job Title: HR Manager – EV Charging (Hybrid)
Role Summary
Lead the full spectrum of HR functions for a high‑growth EV infrastructure company, building and scaling the HR function from an early‑stage structure to a formalised, people‑led organization. Act as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring compliance, employee experience, and culture development.
Expectations
• Own and evolve HR strategy aligned with business growth plans.
• Deliver end‑to‑end HR services in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
• Balance commercial objectives with employee experience and wellbeing.
• Maintain confidentiality, legal compliance, and data integrity.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to influence people decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – design, advertise, interview, offer, onboard, and integrate new hires.
• Employee Relations – serve as first point of contact for HR queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Performance & Development – design and implement performance frameworks, feedback, goal setting, and appraisal cycles.
• Compensation & Benefits – benchmark salaries, manage payroll partnership, recommend benefits.
• HR Strategy & Org Development – support organisational design, change management, workforce planning, and HR metrics reporting.
• Policy, Compliance & Governance – update HR policies, ensure UK employment law compliance, manage employee records, champion wellbeing, H&S, and DEI initiatives.
Required Skills
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in a scaling or entrepreneurial business.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR regulations.
• Proven recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management capabilities.
• Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and HR analytics.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Pragmatic, solutions‑focused, and commercially aware mindset.
Required Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent) preferred.
