Job Title: HR Manager – EV Charging (Hybrid) Role Summary Lead the full spectrum of HR functions for a high‑growth EV infrastructure company, building and scaling the HR function from an early‑stage structure to a formalised, people‑led organization. Act as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring compliance, employee experience, and culture development. Expectations • Own and evolve HR strategy aligned with business growth plans. • Deliver end‑to‑end HR services in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment. • Balance commercial objectives with employee experience and wellbeing. • Maintain confidentiality, legal compliance, and data integrity. • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to influence people decisions. Key Responsibilities • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – design, advertise, interview, offer, onboard, and integrate new hires. • Employee Relations – serve as first point of contact for HR queries, grievances, and conflict resolution. • Performance & Development – design and implement performance frameworks, feedback, goal setting, and appraisal cycles. • Compensation & Benefits – benchmark salaries, manage payroll partnership, recommend benefits. • HR Strategy & Org Development – support organisational design, change management, workforce planning, and HR metrics reporting. • Policy, Compliance & Governance – update HR policies, ensure UK employment law compliance, manage employee records, champion wellbeing, H&S, and DEI initiatives. Required Skills • 3–5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in a scaling or entrepreneurial business. • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR regulations. • Proven recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management capabilities. • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and HR analytics. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. • Pragmatic, solutions‑focused, and commercially aware mindset. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent) preferred.

Job Description
**Job title** Head of Energy Procurement & Flexibility **Role Summary** Lead the creation and execution of a UK-wide energy procurement and flexibility service for commercial real‑estate clients. Combine strategy, client advisory, and internal capability building to deliver best‑practice procurement and demand‑side optimisation outcomes. **Expectations** - Build a market‑leading procurement and flexibility capability within a growth‑stage consultancy. - Deliver measurable energy cost reductions and carbon savings to multi‑site portfolios. - Maintain commercial accountability, KPI achievement, and client satisfaction. - Scale the service line through partner development, internal training and process optimisation. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Energy Procurement** - Develop power, gas and water procurement strategies for large, multi‑site portfolios. - Lead supplier tenders, contract negotiations, PPAs and ongoing contract performance monitoring. - Analyse tariffs, market risk, and forward‑market moves to inform strategy. - Procure renewable‑backed, time‑matched PPAs and apply tenant recharge pricing where applicable. 2. **Measurement & Verification** - Integrate procurement outcomes with energy data and reporting platforms. - Coordinate with engineering and data teams to reconcile consumption data with billing. - Verify savings and performance against contract expectations and produce ESG‑aligned reports. 3. **Flexibility & Asset Integration** - Assess demand‑side flexibility, batteries, and distributed generation to inform procurement decisions. - Value and monetise flexibility via grid services, dynamic tariffs and peak avoidance. - Develop commercial models for flexibility participation (e.g., virtual power plants, balancing services). 4. **Client Advisory** - Act as senior advisor to commercial real‑estate clients, delivering insights on market movements, pricing risk and performance. - Support client net‑zero strategies, regulatory compliance and long‑term energy planning. 5. **Internal Capability Building** - Build cross‑functional processes with technical, data and delivery teams. - Provide training and knowledge transfer to scale the new service line. **Required Skills** - Deep commercial understanding of UK energy markets, regulation and non‑commodity cost structures. - Proven procurement strategy and supplier negotiation experience. - Familiarity with flexibility markets, asset control platforms and BMS data. - Strong analytical ability to translate complex data into commercial strategy. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, from technical teams to senior executives. - Entrepreneurial, growth‑oriented mindset. - Collaborative, builder mentality with a track record of service design and scaling. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, or related field (minimum). - Professional qualification preferred (e.g., Chartered Energy, CEng, or equivalent). - 5–8+ years of relevant industry experience (energy procurement, trading, sustainability consultancy, or in‑house real‑estate utilities).
