**Job Title**: Commercial Business Partner
**Role Summary**:
Provide analytical leadership to drive profitable revenue growth and enhance commercial performance across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. Deliver financial insights, performance dashboards, and strategic recommendations to optimize ROI, contribution margin, and overall commercial strategy for a data‑led rewards technology firm.
**Expectations**:
- Cover a 9‑month maternity leave position with potential extension.
- Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while uncovering growth opportunities.
- Influence pricing, contract terms, and commercial decisions through data‑driven analysis.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to set KPIs, analyze campaign and partnership performance, and assess incremental uplift vs baseline.
2. Design and maintain performance dashboards and reports, tracking sales, partner metrics, ROI, and contribution margins.
3. Build and update financial models for new partnerships, campaigns, and product initiatives; conduct scenario and revenue growth modeling.
4. Support budgeting, re‑forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
5. Define success metrics and financial KPIs for cross‑functional projects; evaluate post‑launch ROI.
6. Advise on pricing, commercial negotiations, and contract structures, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition standards.
7. Lead long‑term commercial strategy development and cross‑departmental collaboration.
**Required Skills**:
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
- Financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting expertise.
- Proficiency in SQL / BigQuery or similar data tools (desirable).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑interpretation capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with presentation skills for non‑financial stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and committed to integrity in financial reporting.
- Experience with management accounts, revenue recognition, and commercial contract analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive organizational skills and a mindset for continuous improvement.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is desirable.
