Job Description
**Job Title**: Finance Manager **Role Summary** Lead the Finance team in producing accurate, timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP. Provide strategic financial analysis, manage cash flow, payroll, VAT/HMRC processes, and drive cost efficiencies while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. **Expactations** * Fully qualified accountant (CGMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) * Experience creating statutory accounts and leading annual audits * Proven track record managing accounts payable/receivable * Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills * Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with KPI ownership **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and compliance. - Coordinate statutory accounts, liaise with auditors, and manage audit schedules. - Deliver management reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders. - Develop rolling forecasts, bi‑weekly cash‑flow projections, and weekly outturn commentary. - Oversee payroll processing, VAT returns, and HMRC compliance. - Monitor and control expenditures, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Conduct profitability analysis by business unit, product, or project. - Identify and implement efficiency improvements and cost‑control initiatives. - Own and report on key performance indicators (revenue, margins, cost trends). - Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security standards. **Required Skills** - Technical accounting & financial reporting - Auditing & statutory compliance - Cash‑flow & forecasting - Budgeting & cost analysis - KPI development & performance management - Advanced Excel & financial modelling - Strong written & verbal communication - Problem‑solving & analytical mindset - Relationship building with internal & external stakeholders - Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism **Required Education & Certifications** * Fully qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CGMA, or equivalent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
