Why This Role Exists
The Head of Consulting will lead and scale Maldona Equity's consulting division by driving revenue growth, building a lean team, and delivering measurable client outcomes. This role requires a proven operator with experience turning service-based businesses into scalable, high-margin operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Scale the Consulting Division -<

Own the growth and profitability of the consulting division, building out systems, processes, and offerings that drive scalable, recurring revenue.
Drive Client Growth Outcomes -
Architect strategies and oversee execution that directly impact client business growth -- focusing on revenue, margin expansion, and operational efficiency.
Build & Manage a High-Performance Team - Hire, train, and lead a lean team (BDR, SDRs, Ads Specialist, Client Success Manager), holding them accountable to KPIs and performance standards.
Establish Consulting Product & Service Models -
Develop standardized service packages, pricing structures, and delivery processes that allow for repeatable results and predictable profit margins.
Monitor Division Financial Performance -
Own division-level P&L. Track and improve client LTV, churn, profitability, and contribution margin. Adjust operations to ensure sustainable unit economics.
Collaborate with Leadership - Work directly with the CEO and C-suite.
Brand Evangelism - Represent Maldona Equity at conferences, webinars, and
company related meetings.
Compensation & Incentives
Stage Structure
Pre-acquisition (now): Part-time contractor, paid 10 - 15 % of all consultign divison revenue + quarterly performanc
e bonusesPost
5-7 Acquisitions: Transition to full-time with a salary.Long-
Term Upside: 1.5-3.5% equity of the holding company (with cliff and vesting)
This package is intentionally aggressive: we want a rainmaker who thinks like an owner.
Ideal Candidate
1. 5-10+ years scaling small-to-mid-sized businesses -- ideally in roles focused on revenue growth, marketing ops, or business opti
mization.
2. Proven track record of growing service-based business revenue (e.g., marketing agency, consultancy, growth firm, or internal business unit).
3. Strong grasp of performance marketing, sales funnels, and client service delivery, with a results-first mindset.
4. Experience building and leading lean teams, wearing multiple hats in fast-paced environments.
5. Data-driven and financially literate, capable of managing budgets, unit economics, and operational KPIs that tie directly to profitability.
6. Must align with Maldona Equity's core values and be willing to work in Las Vegas (or travel regularly for in-person leadership meetings).
This role starts fully remote and transitions to an on-site position once you move into salaried full-time employment.
