Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Azure & Terraform
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite at Canary Wharf)
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Terraform to join our team. This role will focus on designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant cloud infrastructure for our financial services operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate Azure resource provisioning.
Build secure, resilient, and cost-optimized Azure environments in line with financial industry compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
Optimize cloud usage through effective governance, tagging strategies, and performance tuning.
Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure standards and disaster recovery planning.
Stay updated on Azure advancements and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Key Skills:
Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure (AKS, Azure VNet, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor)
Infrastructure Automation: Terraform
Scripting Languages: PowerShell, Python
Tools & Practices: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
Security & Compliance: IAM, cloud security best practices, financial services compliance standards
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
