Release Train Engineer (RTE)

6-12+ Month Contract

Hybrid in Chicago

We're seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a 6-12+ month contract (extension likely). This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, ideal for a servant leader with strong Agile/SAFe expertise.

Responsibilities:

* Plan & execute Program Increment (PI) timelines

* Launch Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and coach Scrum Masters

* Track ART performance and metrics

* Facilitate PI planning and I&A workshops

* Collaborate with Product, Architecture & Business leaders

* Proactively identify risks & blockers

* Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity

Qualifications:

* 6+ years in Agile leadership/RTE roles

* Strong cross-team collaboration & facilitation skills

* Proven experience launching and guiding ARTs

* SAFe RTE certification preferred

* Agile/Scrum certifications required

* Bachelor's degree preferred

$70-85/hour
