We are seeking a seasoned Applications Engineer to join our client's ITSM team, with a dedicated focus on ServiceNow. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading telecommunications organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, etc.)
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient ServiceNow workflows and automation
Customize and enhance ServiceNow forms, workflows, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using best practices
Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning
Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues, ensuring stability and usability
Participate in ServiceNow platform roadmap discussions and contribute to strategic enhancements
Key Requirements
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow
Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform capabilities
Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), and custom application development within ServiceNow
Level III or Senior-level experience preferred

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
