Job Specifications

**Note:** On-site Interview in Philadelphia, PA is Mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using our Java-based Cucumber (BDD) framework.

Write clear, concise, and effective test cases in Gherkin based on product requirements and user stories.

Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure the seamless operation of the X1 platform.

Validate RESTful APIs and web services to ensure data integrity and proper integration between front-end and back-end systems.

Utilize the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana) to perform deep-dive log analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide detailed defect reports.

Perform insightful manual testing to explore edge cases and validate user experience aspects that are difficult to automate.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QE team members in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

Strong Java Programming: This is essential. You must be proficient in Java to write, debug, and maintain code within our automation framework.

Cucumber & Gherkin Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience creating test automation using Cucumber and writing clear test specifications in Gherkin is mandatory.

API / Web Services Testing: Solid experience testing web services (REST APIs) and using related tools (e.g., Postman) is required to validate our system integrations.

ELK Stack for Debugging: You must be able to use a logging platform like the ELK stack to investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and write effective bug reports.
