Job Specifications

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for our client. This candidate will join a large-scale digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative IT team developing complex, custom-built applications from the ground up to support the operations of a plaintiff's law firm. These applications will integrate with multiple third-party systems, web services, and APIs.

The ideal candidate brings a strong Java background, hands-on experience across the full SDLC, and comfort working in Agile environments.

Dallas, TX - Full Time - Hybrid - 2 days in office
$110K - $130K DOE

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-grade applications and databases with complex requirements.
Build RESTful services, APIs, and message/event-driven architectures.
Translate user needs into functional application requirements.
Research and recommend modern software approaches, architectures, tools, and platforms.
Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability, usability, reliability).
Follow industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate effectively within a close-knit IT team and broader user community.
Manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure, including extended hours as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
Solid experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred); familiarity with NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with web/application server technologies (Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Node.js, Nginx, J2EE).
Proven background in Web Services and API design/development.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
Must be authorized to work in the US without any sponsorship
Must conduct a full background check and drug screen upon hire
