Main Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth daily running of the vacation rental business. They coordinate on-the-ground teams, act as the liaison with property owners, and ensure all apartments are kept in excellent condition. The position reports directly to the Regional Manager.

1. Daily Operational Oversight

* Organize and monitor guest check-ins, check-outs, cleanings, and maintenance tasks.

* Ensure that all units are guest-ready, clean, and properly maintained.

* Handle urgent situations involving guests, property issues, or suppliers.

2. Field Team Coordination

* Manage and support part-time/contract teams: housekeeping, maintenance ...

* Optimize schedules and task allocation to ensure efficient operations.

* Conduct routine quality checks on properties and services delivered.

3. Owner Relationship Management

* Act as the primary point of contact for property owners.

* Provide regular updates regarding bookings, property condition, and guest feedback.

* Build trust and long-term relationships through clear, professional communication.

4. Quality Control & Process Improvement

* Implement company standards and operational procedures.

* Identify areas for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction and reduce operational friction.

* Ensure legal and safety compliance across all properties

Candidate Profile:

* Experience in vacation rental management, hospitality, or operations coordination.

* Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to work independently.

* Leadership mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-driven attitude.

* Comfortable with digital tools and familiar with property management systems (PMS).

* Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (required for on-site visits).

Contract Details:

* Status: Freelance (self-employed)

* Workload: TBD (flexible schedule based on activity level)

* Compensation: Based on experience, invoicing monthly

* Start date: Nov 2025

* Location requirement: Must be locally based or available for on-site visits as needed
