JOB DESCRIPTION

An Automotive Financial Services client is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Developer to lead the secure design, automation, and operation of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is responsible for embedding security throughout the DevOps lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, and ensuring resilient, scalable, and compliant cloud-native deployments. The developer will architect infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation on AWS, integrate security tools into CI/CD workflows, manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and ECS/EKS/AKS, and implement monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch. Additional responsibilities include securing cloud operations, ensuring compliance with standards like SOC 2, conducting risk assessments and threat modeling, leading incident response efforts, and managing identity and access controls including Okta SSO.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering

3+ years in DevSecOps or secure pipeline leadership

Strong experience with AWS

Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell

Expertise in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

Deep knowledge of container security, IaC, and zero-trust principles

Familiarity with security testing tools and IAM practices

Experience in hybrid cloud environments and secure operations
