About the Role
Seeking an Associate Lead Business Analyst to join our team and support Client's business goals through effective business process improvements, data analysis, and technology adoption. This role supports Client's National Technology team, a dynamic internal service function responsible for deploying and managing critical technology solutions that drive business operations and driving operational efficiency, identifying growth opportunities, advocating for new technologies, and overseeing system implementations that enhance business operations
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Client & audit, tax, and consulting business portfolios, bringing expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
It is essential for the staff to have a clear and crisp understanding of the business, culture, and technology landscape.
Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders (HR, Finance, and National Technology teams) and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to Workday HCM, Finance, and Payroll modules.
Lead business process mapping exercises to define current and future state processes for HR and Finance functions.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for system configuration, integration, and reporting.
Support Workday implementation and enhancement projects by providing detailed gap analyses and recommending system/process improvements.
Collaborate with integration teams to define and validate interfacing systems, ensuring data accuracy and workflow continuity across platforms.
Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement validation sessions to align priorities and scope with business goals.
Manage testing activities, including creation of test plans and scripts and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.
Support change management efforts by preparing training materials and guiding stakeholders through system adoption.
Required Skills:
Proven hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments, with at least 2 years working directly on Workday (HCM, Payroll, and/or Finance modules).
Strong experience in business process mapping and optimization across HR and Finance functions
Solid understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration points
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions and drive consensus
Strong documentation and presentation skills for creating functional specs, user stories, and process flows.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Familiarity with data governance, workflow automation, and reporting/analytics in a cloud environment.
Desirable Skills:
Experience supporting Workday payroll integrations with third-party systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Oracle).
Working knowledge of Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and calculated fields.
Exposure to change management and stakeholder engagement strategies in large-scale transformations.
Certification in Workday or a recognized Business Analysis methodology (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
Understanding of UK-specific HR/Payroll compliance and regulatory practices.
