Job Specifications

Contract: Fidessa Developer (Java or Python) - PS700 Per Day via Umbrella - Front Office Development

Rate: PS700 p/d Inside
Location: Canary Wharf - 4 Days p/w Onsite
Duration: 6 Months - Intention to extend to multiple years
Industry: Leading Global Investment Bank

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Professional experience with hands-on development on the Fidessa vendor trading platform (not just integration with Fidessa).
Strong understanding of equities trading workflows and systems.
Excellent programming skills in Java and Python.

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Broad understanding of other asset class domains within Capital Markets.
Experience with additional platform components (e.g., algo containers, tick databases).
Familiarity with development and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence.
Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., SOLACE).
Experience with the Java Spring Framework.
