Key Responsibilities
Develop and customise the Fidessa cash equities order management systems for US and Canadian markets.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Fidessa and Java.
Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide mentorship to new team members and contribute to risk identification and mitigation.
Support third-line technical issues as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on development experience with the Fidessa trading platform.
Strong understanding of equities trading.
Proficiency in Java (including Spring framework) and Python.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of other asset classes in Capital Markets.
Experience with tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence.
Familiarity with messaging systems (eg, SOLACE).
Exposure to algo containers and tick databases.
