A leading financial technology organization is building a next-generation Technical Operations function to support its growth and regulatory commitments. This role is central to ensuring operational excellence across multi-cloud and on-premise infrastructure, with a focus on compliance, security, and reliability. You'll design and maintain resilient networks and hosting environments that must meet strict audit, risk, and regulatory requirements while enabling the delivery of new customer-facing capabilities.

As a senior engineer, you will bring both technical authority and operational discipline--leading architecture standards, hardening environments against threats, and ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery planning. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, firewalls, and infrastructure automation, coupled with a proven ability to operate in regulated, always-on environments.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of enterprise-level system/network design and support within regulated or high-uptime industries
Expert-level proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls (including Panorama) and Juniper switching/routing (including VXLAN/EVPN)
Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery planning, security assessments, and compliance alignment (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC, ISO)

Desired Skills & Experience

Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible and Terraform
Familiarity with cloud governance and risk controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to support automation, logging, and audit readiness

Daily Responsibilities

Hands-On Engineering: 60%
Team Collaboration & Compliance/Control Alignment: 40%
