Our client: A multi-billion RE PE firm is looking to add a VP of FP&A to the team

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to facilitate strategic planning processes and develop and manage plans to ensure the successful execution of strategy
Be responsible for the annual operating budget, and serve as a partner to colleagues to help determine optimal resource allocation, headcount, and ROI
Provide budget-to-actual variance analyses for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Lead all aspects of financial planning for the Business Operations, including short term forecasting and long-range strategic planning
Assist in creation and review of presentations and detailed financial analyses to be presented to senior management and the Management Committee
Create and improve financial models to analyze all aspects of the firm's financial performance, including by region and sector

Qualifications

BS/BA in Finance or Equivalent, advanced degree a plus
10+ years of experience, financial services/private equity experience a plus
Ability to partner with colleagues across a diverse, global organization
Outstanding communication, problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills
Extensive experience with financial modeling and forecasting
Detail orientation with strong financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Investment banking OR Management Consultant experience of 2-3 years is strongly preferred.
