Job Title: Contract Delivery Lead

The role:
We're seeking a Delivery Lead who can bridge delivery management with technical product development. You'll not only ensure smooth coordination and reporting, but also bring the judgment of someone who has built products before; able to influence how roadmaps are shaped, spot gaps early, and ensure data platform initiatives are delivered with both speed and quality. Domain knowledge in actuarial, investments, or reinsurance will make you especially effective in guiding priorities and engaging with client stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Represent Toucanberry as the lead delivery contact, building trust with client stakeholders and ensuring alignment on priorities.
Own initiative-level roadmaps and backlog management, translating business needs into structured delivery plans.
Oversee cross-squad delivery operations, including sprint planning, demos, reporting, and quarterly showcases.
Manage resourcing across squads to optimise utilisation and delivery outcomes.
Ensure service desk tickets and urgent issues are prioritised appropriately and escalated when required.
Maintain Toucanberry-wide documentation and processes, ensuring they are current, accessible, and client-ready.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement through internal syncs, retrospectives, and learning forums.
Provide oversight and guidance to Product Owners and Tech Leads, ensuring delivery remains aligned to business and technical objectives.
Skills & Expertise:
Industry knowledge in actuarial, investments, life insurance, or reinsurance (highly desirable).
Background in a technical product role eg Technical Product Manager or Software Engineer, with proven ability to design and deliver roadmaps.
Hands-on product development experience with data platforms.
Strong track record leading multi-squad delivery in consultancy or enterprise settings.
Proficiency with delivery and collaboration tools (eg Jira, Lucid, Confluence).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences.
Highly organised, able to balance competing priorities and drive outcomes.
